Genuine Kohler GP800820 Rite-Temp pressure-balancing replacement cartridge for compatible 1/2-inch valve assemblies. It replaces service cartridge GP500520.
Fit, installation and product details
- Verified valve families include K-304 and K-11748. Identify the actual rough-in valve before ordering; the visible trim collection alone does not establish cartridge compatibility.
- This is a pressure-balancing unit, not a thermostatic cartridge or a complete valve/trim assembly. Follow the service guide for the seals appropriate to the installed cap and valve style.
- Older pressure-balancing valves with a brass cap and three-ribbed stem require the complete GP876851 mixer-cap and pressure-balancing-unit combination, according to Kohler.
